The HS-15P comes from GE sensing and is a water-resistant humidity sensor capable of 20-100% relative humidity measurements.
This sensor can't directly drive a signal. A typical application would be to use this sensor as a variable resistor in a 555 circuit. The output frequency of the 555 will change based on the resistance changes of this device to the humidity. The 555 output signal can be input to a hardware counter in a microcontroller to determine the frequency. Temperature correction will be required when using this part to get accurate readings.
Specs:
- Humidity: 20-100% RH
- Temperature Range: 0-60 deg C
- Resistance: 60 ohms @ 25 degC, 50% RH
